Gary Lee King, a resident of Clinton Township, died Sunday, March 21, 2021, following a tragic accident. Mr. King was born on March 14, 1982, Detroit, MI to Catherine and Kenneth King.
Gary died while pursuing one of his favorite activities, riding with friends. Possessed with a heart of gold and blessed with his skills as a mechanic, Gary was often helping others. Since boyhood Gary was fascinated with cars, motorcycles and hot rods. The Chevy Nova was a favorite. “Mr. Jokester” loved anything that went fast. He recently obtained his dream job and was excited and happy about the opportunities ahead.
Gary’s greatest passion was his family. Weekends were filled with excursions, trips to parks, campouts, beaches and new shared experiences with his devoted wife, Jessica, and their four children. He loved working on cars with his son, Zak, passing along his knowledge about automobiles, engines or how to build a deck. He had an infectious sense of humor and generous nature.
